Understanding Education!!

I know our mothers never tell us to discuss politics, or religion but I on the other hand was not really taught that way. Therefore I am going to talk a little about why professors need to get off their high horse and not discuss their own personal beliefs while educating the young naive minds of their students. A professor’s job is to educate and prepare students for future endeavors, is it not? Then why do educators insist on supplying us (yes I am a student, in my last quarter of my senior year) with their personal opinion on how politics should be ran better as either socialist or liberal. Any right minded American knows that this is not true, yet some educators continue supplying us with false arguments, and teaching their opinions rather than giving students the facts and allowing the students to develop their own ideas and concepts. In response to the anti conservative agenda that many “educated” individuals feel so inclined to cultivate students I would like to take a little time to say that it was the conservative belief that founded our great nation back in 1775. Our fore fathers are turning in their graves seeing how the same USA that the Revolutionaries fought for is currently being ran into the ground by the professors, like mine, who are only educating a one sided discussion about how great Socialism is. (Russia is a prime example of a socialist failure, there for those that feel socialism is a great thing are commies not Americans.) In any event, professors should not instigate one sided arguments against similar political beliefs rather educators should supply facts for both, then allow individuals to develop their own opinions versus believing the falsehoods of a biased professors opinion. So to any future teachers out there take this into consideration while teaching, do not sculpt the minds to how your mind works, yet allow the students to be creative and develop their own understandings. Don’t be undemocratic and force children to listen to your own personal beliefs but rather supply them a blank canvas for their brains to paint on, being creative and creating their own interpretation.

Keeping it real,

Chad
